xemowhorex's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- alkaline trio / american steel i'm not sure if i mentioned but i talked some girl from myspace in to meeting up with me before the show for drinks. i think i was having a good day and was feeling like i needed more contacts in my hifalutin phone and thoguht the best way for that to happen would be to make some damn friends. the message below was sent to my friend lana who lives in modesto and was unabel to make it out. i think it sums up the evening nicely. "well i seam to have gotten ditched. these things tend to go better or maybe worse but more fun when we're togeather. the neighbor doesn't count. she was way to fucking scene for us. now i really wish i had brought an 8X10 promo glossy of tony danza. really i didn't think drinks went that badly but then suddenly after american steel she ran off (literaly fucking ran) with her friend leaving me standing next to her other friend who honestly is a little creepy. i think his aim is too-cool-to-be-scene-but-"i kind of like the hair so i'm gonna try to pull of some sembalance of a nappy emo comb over"-indy and really just coms off as gay-homeless. the girls in front of me have so much fucking hair spray i think i might faint, and some one in this crowd has fucking gas. at least i'm using that hifalutin phone for soemthing right? really though the bands were good and thats really all that matters right? right? right. the neighbor, tony danza and scene referances are inside jokes. maybe one day they'll be explained. or maybe they already have been, i can't remember. now i need to sleep becasue i really have to make it to work tomorrow as i didn't make it today and may already be fired. 12:42 p.m. - Jul. 29th, 2008 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
