so i'm finally getting out of this rut that i've been stuck in for the last 7 years. i've faxed a volunteer application to the oakland zoo. i've called kaiser and found out how to get an up to take tb test and tetanus shot so that i can volunteer. i've enrolled in community college. i left a message to sign up for orientation/assessment this coming friday at said community college. i've checked out the assessment sample test and honed up on the basic math skills i need. (basic pre algebra is as far as i ever got in high school). i've gotten a pin for fafsa (financial aide) i'm going to fill out the forms when i get home where i have all the papers i need. classes start august 20th so i don't know if i'm doing all this early enough. registration started april 29th i think, so i'm a little late. but hopefully i can still get some of the classes i'll need. after the assessment/ orientation i still need to talk to a counselor. i think i'm well on my way.

filled out the finacial aide form. and as suspected i don't think i'm elegable. they go off last years tax return and last year i was employeed. most of this year i was employeed. i wonder if there is some one i can talk to about that.
