xemowhorex's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - still haven't rescheduled doctors appointments. procrastination sucks. went out last night. saw the dresden dolls at the fillmore. they are fucking amazing. the show was incredible. they had zoe keating play with them on a few songs. as well as some other local performers. probably one of the best shows i've seen in a long time. and i actually cut lose a little. danced and sang horribly, and loudly, put my hands in the air, didn't wear a hoodie in a sweltering hot room just to cover myself. maybe this prozac stuff is working after all. or maybe it was just the vodka. for some reason i kept trying to talk myself out of going. i always do this. actually normally i have to talk myself in to going. this time i didn't even try. i just made the decision that i shouldn't go and that was it. no trying to talk myself in to going. as a matter of fact i was certain i was going to puss out of the whole thing and not go right up until the point that i left. i got there during the opening band. i usually get to shows earlier cause i like to be up front. but it wasn't so bad i was still pretty close. it's easier to cut in between people when you're just one person rather than a group. any way. i'm incredibly glad that i went. i had a really good time. i have no idea why i would try to not go. i love the god damned dresden dolls. love love love. i'm painfully tired today. i think i've slept a total of 6 hours in the last 2 days. today after work i have to go home take some canine pills or something and clean the fuck out of my apartment. they're coming by to check the fire alarms and "general condition of the unit". the general condition of my unit is utter disarray. 12:34 p.m. - May. 19th, 2008 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
