xemowhorex's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - i'm itchy . while alone at my parents house yesterday i went out back and laid on the wicker yard sofa for about an hour. skeeters got me. it was so very nice laying out there though. didn't so a damn thing. just laid there petting dogs and occasionaly throwing a ball. it was just soothing. felt like i was on vacation. maybe becasue i actualy got 2 days off this week.... i'm back at work now. the sent out an e-mail to let us know that the travel and ers call recieving departments will be closing august 31st. a co worker who was here for the meeting that preceded the e-mail tells me that on tuesday they'er supposed to be telling us when dispatch (my department) is leaving. a lot of people are speculating september. i don't knwo though. they want to transfer all of our radio points to the center in glendale arizona. right now glen dale doesn't dispatch at all. so they'll have to get the equipment, hire and train enough people before they can lay us off. so i'm thinking maybe we'll make it to next year. the new center in oaklahoma is set to open in the 3rd quarter of next year. so i guess pretty much i still don't know anything. but i should soon. 12:36 p.m. - May. 31st, 2008 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
